Hi from The Delgados!

My Laundry Helper was born out of love, laundry, and a lot of life experience.

We’re Jorge and Mercie—a proud military family who traded Florida sunshine for new beginnings after 12 years of service, 3 tours of duty, and countless lessons learned in resilience, family, and the art of folding a fitted sheet (okay, we’re still working on that one).

Jorge is a Cuban immigrant, I am Cuban-American mom, and together we’ve raised three incredible kids—Marco, Richard, and Sofia—plus our latest addition, Lily, our rescue pup who joined the family in 2023 (and thinks she’s in charge). 🐶

As a busy mom, I knows the mountain of laundry that comes with family life—and the magic of having just one thing off your plate. What used to overwhelm me became a kind of therapy, and now it’s our mission to bring that same peace to your home.

We created My Laundry Helper because we know how precious time is! Between carpools, careers, and trying to sit down for a family dinner, laundry is the one chore that never ends—but it doesn’t have to be your problem. We’re here to help busy families, working professionals, and anyone who just wants their weekends back or simply just does not like doing laundry.

We’re not just picking up your laundry—we’re delivering fresh clothes and a little more freedom. And we promise to treat your laundry like we treat our own—which is to say, with love & care.
